This short newsreel excerpt shows an act of civil disobedience that took place on 23 April 1969 when a draft resister, Louis Christofides, and a friend sat on the railway line at Woollongong holding up a train that was about to transport Vietnam conscripts to Sydney. He was subsequently jailed.
